DIAL: This timepiece features an speshial AIR FORCE TYPE black metal dial is in excellent-very good condition.
It is featuring a Large Size Arabic numerals, outer 60 min numerals, and a recessed sunken sub-seconds dial with "sweep" steel seconds hand at the 6.00. Signed IWC SCHAFFHAUSEN in white color lettering below the 12.
CASE: Turning the watch over I see that the back lid is in very good condition.
The case have some small scratches.
MOVEMENT: This beautiful wristwatch has the Original Antique IWC Cal 57, OF 18lig, 41mm - HIGH GRADE MECHANISM in an excellent status which was very well saved, considering age of this watch. Mechanism has been recently serviced to ensure it winds and sets smoothly while keeping great, accurate time. The 15 jewels, manual wind Gold plated, high-grade mechanism is stamped with serial number #624966.
This is a “NAIL SET” watch so you don’t pull the crown out to set the time. Instead, you press the little button near the crown IN and then move the crown to set the hands, releasing the button once you’re finished. It’s easy, so don’t worry about getting the hang of it!
Note: Do not pull crown. When winding the crown, you must stop once you feel resistance. Over winding the watch will cause the spring to jump and may cause gears of the movement to break.
