Ove godine na najvećem sajmu satova na svetu, Baselworld, je predstavljen novi model sata kompanije Harry Winston - Opus 12. Pomenuti sat je izvanredna komplikacija, ne po različitim funkcionalnostima, već po svom mehanizmu. Reč je o načinu na koji se prikazuju sati i minute. Na svakih pet minuta tj. svakih sat vremena se faktički “menja” izgled brojčanika sata.



Prikaz sekundi je smešten u centru brojčanika. Minuti se prikazuju uz pomoć dve kazaljke. Jedna se nalazi po obodu brojčanika i ona se menja svakih pet minuta, dok druga kazaljka prikazuje minute od nula do pet. Druga minutna kazaljka ima i flyback funkciju. Po rubu brojčanika se nalazi svega 24 kazaljke i spojene su na svakom markeru po dve. Svaki par tih kazaljki može da prikaže i sate (malom kazaljkom) i minute (velikom kazaljkom). Nakon isteka pet minuta minutna kazaljka se okrenei prikaže se u plavoj boji. Za narednih pet minuta ona ponovo napravi okret i tada se prikaže u sivoj boji. Satna kazaljka funkcioniše na isti način samo obrt vrši nešto ređe, odnosno na svakih sat vremena. Rezerva snage ovog zanimljivog sata je 45 h i nalazi se kod prikaza sekundi, u centralnom delu brojčanika. Kućište se izrađuje od belog zlata i prečnika je 46 mm. Mehanizam je ručni navijač, sastoji se od 607 delova i 2 glavne pogonske opruge.



Harry Winston - Opus 12 se izrađuje u limitiranoj seriji od 120 komada i njegova zvanična cena je 260.000,oo USD.
