[h=1]Sinn-SZ02[/h] Chronograph developed by Sinn on the basis of the Valjoux 7750.
The SZ caliber 02 is a modification of the SZ01 movement, characterized by an off-center 60-minute counter.
The Valjoux 7750, by contrast, only has a 30-minute chronometer counter. Stopped times are difficult to see on this standard caliber as the interim marks of the hour counter are very close to the hour indices. Only with the aid of this pointer is it possible to distinguish between a minute display of 0 to 30 and 30 to 60. The SZ02 permits direct reading of the minutes right through from 0 to 60 minutes.
The SZ02 was launched in 2006, the year of the World Cup in Germany. It was housed in the case of the 303 football chronograph. The caliber has more than proved its worth since then, forming a reliable base for the perfect readability of the diving watch U1000 range.
